Sr. Director of Sales and Leasing
John Flournoy manages McCord Development’s sales and leasing team and strategy. His primary focus is on developing Generation Park, Houston’s largest (4,300 acre) master planned economic center. In John’s 12-year career with McCord, he has attracted some of the world leading companies to Generation Park including Target Stores (1.4MM SF), IKEA (1MM SF), and TechnipFMC (1MM SF). As a result of his efforts, Generation Park has matured from pastureland in 2014 into the world class development it is today with over 6MM SF of office, multifamily, retail, hospitality and industrial assets valued at over $1.4 billion.
John is a native Houstonian and currently sits on the Board of the North Channel Area Chamber (NCACC), which promotes economic development and quality of life in northeast Houston. Prior to joining the NCACC, John passionately served for 11-years on the Executive Committee of Archway Academy, the nation’s largest adolescent recovery high school.
In his free time, John loves playing a good game of tennis and spending time outdoors with his awesome wife, Mary Austill, and their two wonderful kids, Walsh and Win. John holds a B.A. in Anthropology & Archeology with Honors from Washington and Lee University (‘99).
